How much does a membership cost?

Membership is $5 per month, billed on the first of each month. You can also pay $50 once for a full year of all-access lessons — that saves you $10 compared to paying monthly for twelve months.

Is there a free lesson?

Yes. Your first lesson is completely free. Create a free account with your email or Google and take it right away — no payment information needed.

How do the lessons work?

Lessons open right on this website — there is no app to install and nothing to download. Each lesson is a short, friendly walkthrough in everyday words. A clear voice can read each lesson aloud, with large captions you can read along with. You can pause, replay or back up at any time, and you set your own pace.

Can I make the words bigger or the voice slower?

Yes. The voice reading a lesson has a volume slider and a speed control you can slow down or speed up. There's also an accessibility icon at the bottom corner of every page that turns on larger text, stronger colors, underlined links and less motion — and it remembers your choices.

Do I need a special computer or phone?

No. The Good Sense Club works in the web browser you already have — on a computer, tablet or phone. If you can open this page, you can take the lessons.

How do I cancel my membership?

You can cancel any time from your account, or email hello@thegoodsenseclub.com and a real person will help. When you cancel, you keep access through everything you've already paid for, and no further payments are collected. Payments are non-refundable, because lessons unlock as soon as you pay for them.

What is the referral reward?

When you share your personal referral link and a friend joins as a paying member, you get 3 free months added to your membership. You can find your link and a simple way to share it in your account under 'Refer a friend.'

I forgot my password. What do I do?

On the sign-in page, choose 'Forgot your password?' and we'll email you a link to choose a new one. If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder, or email hello@thegoodsenseclub.com and we'll help you get back in.

I'm helping an older parent. Can you help me set this up for them?

Yes. Many members join with help from an adult son or daughter. Our page for adult children explains how to talk about scams without being pushy, and how the lessons stay easy to see and hear. You're welcome to sit with your parent while they take the lessons, or to help set up their account.

Who is behind The Good Sense Club?

Our founder has older parents and other family members who have been scammed. Seeing this happen to people he loves made him feel an obligation to help others understand what scams look like and how they work. He started The Good Sense Club to share practical, plain-language guidance without blame or talking down to anyone. Our lessons also draw on free scam-prevention resources that organizations like AARP and AAA publish for the public.
